I am a product designer trying to improve decision-making in very large groups.
About my project: I am trying to solve the problem of improving decision-making, governance of very large groups. I think this is a neglected area and it potentially could have a large impact. I am working on a network that uses a liquid-democracy voting mechanism. Its goal is to select the most pressing problems from the network, generate high-quality discussion around and crowdfund money to back solutions. At the start, solutions would be orgs, labs, projects selected by GiveWell / OpenPhilantropy in their open-sourced research. This project is pretty well defined, though I didn't start coding it yet. There are still a few big conceptual challenges I working to figure out.
