I do research on the philosophy and psychology of rationality and well-being in a PhD project that is part of the interdisciplinary research project Modeling Human Happiness at the University of Oslo. I also make technologies to improve learning and reasoning through Disputas, a tech-startup I co-founded. I am also engaged in a project to do with EA outreach, and a project about forecasting and decision making.
I recently cofounded an impact-oriented startup. If you have an idea you want to pursue, I might be a helpful sparring partner in talking about how to get started building an organization. However, I just got started myself, and don't claim any special expertise.
Also, I have studied philosophy, and am quite confident that I am a good discussion partner for talking about philosophical issues.
I am looking for help and advice on my projects.
#1 In my PhD, I write on well-being and normativity (axiological matters in metaethics). I have an original theory about this which I would love to get some feedback on.
#2 I am involved in a technology startup. I would love to talk about the prospects for innovative language technology and technologies to aid critical thinking.
#3 I have an ongoing project to develop teaching materials of very high quality that teachers may use in ethics classes if they want. I think this might be a highly scalable way to spread good ideas.
#4 I am interested in forecasting and decision making, and have a project where I am testing some ideas that might make epistemic methods more feasible for more people.
