Koki Ajiri

Research Intern at Rethink Priorities

I am Koki Ajiri, currently a research intern at Rethink Priorities, as well as the EA Community Builder at NYU Abu Dhabi. As Public Policy student with experiences with development organizations in China, India, Nepal, and Ghana., I envision myself as an advisor to an intl' foundation as a grant maker, redirecting resources and funding to the most neglected causes in developing countries' health operations.

1) I would love to discuss my experience setting up a new university chapter in the Middle East, as well as running a fellowship

2) Discuss experiences working in Sub-Saharan Africa, and navigating the topic of privilege, paternalism, and saviorism

Looking for

I'd like to be introduced to internship opportunity at health foundations, international policy think tanks, or animal welfare/clean meat organizations. I want to apply my knowledge in EA and contribute what I can in advancing these organizations' EA-aligned mission
