More about me:

I founded and was the first employee of the EA charity .impact (since renamed to Rethink Charity), which runs EA Hub, the Local Effective Altruism Network project, the annual EA survey, and much more. For a full overview, check out our website.

I've worked for several non-profits over my career. I worked part time for Charity Science for a few months alongside .impact, and was one of the first three employees of the Centre for Effective Altruism, where I handled the legal and financial setup and built the websites for Effective Animal Activism and Giving What We Can (of which I was an early member). Before that, I worked for openDemocracy and New Internationalist. And before that I studied philosophy at Cambridge and then at Oxford, and then worked for openDemocracy and New Internationalist while also helping other organisations and campaigns. For more details on all that see my CV.

I send very occasional updates on my main EA activities to around a hundred EAs who've asked to get these - if you would too, sign up here.
