I am currently a full-time student studying medicine. I consider myself a classical, hedonistic utilitarian. After becoming a vegetarian in part because of Peter Singer's arguments against speciesism, I read his book 'The Life You Can Save', which first introduced me to GiveWell and the concept of effective giving.
