I've been involved in effective altruism since 2013 and animal advocacy since 2010, and started working at ACE in 2016. Prior to ACE, I was a software and applications engineer at a small hyperspectral imaging company (7 years). During that time, I participated in and led various animal advocacy efforts in Madison, WI, including an annual veg fest that attracted 3500 attendees, volunteer coordination, and serving as Board Chair of a local animal advocacy group. I also co-founded a local EA group, helped organize an EAGx event, and worked and/or volunteered for BERI, CFAR, and EA Giving Tuesday. I currently live in Oakland, CA.
