I work as Operations & Development Associate at Rethink Priorities. In this role, I am responsible for day-to-day operations and administrative tasks.
In addition to that, I am one of the co-organizers for EA Philadelphia and I also volunteer with Giving What We Can. In both of these roles, I help organize and run meetings, and provide additional support, as needed.
Last year, I earned my PhD in Cultural & National Security and I am interested in exploring intersections between EA and security.
Apart from that, I am excited about community building, social movements, and climate change. I am also curious about how cultural factors affect decision-making at individual and national levels.
I can chat about operations role in a nonprofit sector and an EA-aligned organization; EA group organization; project management; events organization; community-building; internship program management; pros and cons of pursuing a PhD degree outside of the US; national and cultural security (security studies); volunteering opportunities in the EA space; teaching foreign language.
Connecting with individuals who are interested in community-building, those who have background in national security / security studies, and anyone else who wants to chat about anything! :)
