Charity Entrepreneurship Incubation Program (June-August 2021)

In 2018, I became very interested in the Effective Altruism movement (particularly AGI Safety) and signed the Giving What We Can Pledge.
In 2019, I founded a booking platform for independent board game venues (www.MeepleMarket.co.uk), with the intention to donate the profits to effective charities. Unfortunately, Meeple Market was shut down in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In 2020, I developed my interest in AGI Safety through work at the Global Catastrophic Risk Institute co-authoring the "2020 Survey of Artificial General Intelligence Projects for Ethics, Risk, and Policy".
In 2021, I took part in the EA Oxford In-Depth Fellowship Program and will form part of the 2021 cohort of the Charity Entrepreneurship Incubation Program (June-August 2021), aiming to co-found an effective charity.
